WHAT IS COVERED?

NECO provides warranty coverage for the engine long block assembly. An engine long block refers to the main castings of the engine assembly such as the cylinder heads and block including the crankshaft and camshaft. A long block also refers to the internal parts such as the bearing, guides, valves, timing components and oil pump or gears. This means that if you have a problem with your engine, call NECO and a NECO Customer Service person will help guide you through every step needed to deal with your engine problem. When there is something wrong with an internal component such as a piston, bearing or valve then you should definitely call NECO for help.

Standard 100,000 mile Warranty Coverage
For the first 24 Months or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, this limited warranty will repair or replace the engine or parts of the engine needing repair or replacement because of defective parts and/or workmanship. For Months 25 thru 36 or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, this limited warranty will repair or replace solely at the NECO’s discretion, the engine or parts of the engine needing repair or replacement because of defective parts and/or workmanship less a deductible amount of $250.00 per incident, which shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser. For Months 37 thru 42 or 100,000 miles, this limited warranty will repair or replace solely at the NECO's discretion, the engine or parts of the engine needing repair or replacement because of defective parts and/or workmanship less a deductible amount of $500.00 per incident which shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser. For Months 43 thru 48 or 100,000 miles, this limited warranty will repair or replace solely at the NECO's discretion, the engine or parts of the engine needing repair or replacement because of defective parts and/or workmanship less a deductible amount of $750.00 per incident which shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser. For Months 49 thru 54 or 100,000 miles, this limited warranty will repair or replace solely at the NECO's discretion, the engine or parts of the engine needing repair or replacement because of defective parts and/or workmanship less a deductible amount of $1250.00 per incident which shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser. For Months 55 thru 60 or 100,000 miles, this limited warranty will repair or replace solely at the NECO's discretion, the engine or parts of the engine needing repair or replacement because of defective parts and/or workmanship less a deductible amount of $1,750.00 per incident which shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser.

WHAT MUST I DO TO MAINTAIN MY ENGINE WARRANTY COVERAGE?

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS & OWNER / USER OBLIGATIONS:
A. Important: Oil and oil filter replacement service must be performed at 600-mile mark after engine installation.
B. Required Services: Purchaser must maintain documented paid receipts of Oil & Oil Filter changes every 3,000 miles after the first 600 mile oil change, and documented paid receipts of cooling system flushes and system inspections every 12 months after engine installation. All required paid service receipts must be available upon request by an authorized NECO Engine Replacement Center for warranty service.
C. Service Updates: Purchaser is required to return vehicle to any authorized NECO Engine Replacement Center at 18 Months or 25,000 miles whichever occurs first, at 36 Months or 50,000 miles whichever occurs first, and also at 48 months or 75,000 miles whichever occurs first for an engine readjustment, engine additive treatment and engine inspection. This special service shall be provided by an authorized NECO Engine Replacement Center at no charge to the Purchaser.  The authorized NECO Engine Replacement Center must validate this warranty document after service is performed.
